Lupita Nyong’o enaltece história de ex-Globeleza em rede social

Vencedora do Oscar de Melhor Atriz Coadjuvante, em 2014, por sua atuação em “12 Anos de Escravidão”, Lupita Nyong’o postou uma foto da atriz e modelo brasileira Nayara Justino. Ela comentou a história da ex-Globeleza, que é tema de um documentário do jornal britânico “The Guardian”.

Em seu Instagram, Lupita escreveu: “Minha paixão feminina do dia é a brasileira Nayara Justino. Sua história de pérola está neste link. Um poema para acompanhar o assunto”, disse ela, postando versos de Edgar Albert Guest. A poesia fala sobre coisas que não se pode fazer. Leia a íntegra (em inglês), ao fim do texto.

O doc conta a história de Nayara, que sofreu preconceito por ser escolhida como a muda da TV Globo durante o Carnaval, mas sofreu rejeição do público por ser negra. Em seu Instagram, a brasileira respondeu: “Estou muito emocionada que @lupitanyongo acaba de falar sobre minha historia”, exclamou, dizendo que amava a atriz.
